SHANNON KORTA

Architectural Photographer - Portland, Oregon

Shannon is an award-winning architectural photographer who specializes in high end photography of the built environment.  She began her career in the west coast as an in-house photographer for an architecture firm. This gave her immense exposure into the field of architecture and a unique foundation for her photography.  She later transitioned her role to working as the lead photographer for Riff_, a creative agency in downtown Vancouver, WA. She did shoots in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and began her own entrepreneurial efforts in San Antonio, TX. Korta Photography is now based in Portland, OR photographing projects throughout the beautiful PNW. Shannon has been published in several publications including but not limited to: the New York Times, Texas Architect, and Clayton Korte's "Hill Country Wine Cave". She has shot a wide variety of projects from Residential, Hospitality, Ranches, Wineries, Healthcare, Institutional, Restaurants, Multi-Family Housing, Education, Spas, Performing Arts, and more.

Shannon has a high regard for beauty, craftsmanship, and telling stories. She delights in showcasing the designs of her clients, treating each image she delivers with precision and care. Her ambitions are delivering excellent products, fostering authentic long term client relationships, and shooting for communities locally, nationally, and internationally. She is married to an architect and when she's not shooting you will find her chasing after their three little girls.
